we are strongly convicted of the truth as it relates to the following statements, therefore these statements lay a clear foundation for what we believe.

The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the Holy Scriptures, including both the Old and the New Testament are the inspired Words of GOD, written by holy men of GOD who spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, we believe the original manuscripts are indeed without error.

We further believe that the Holy Scriptures testify of Jesus Christ, in whom eternal life is found and salvation is made possible, through faith. It is the Holy Scriptures that we believe should always serve as the ultimate authority on all matters of the Christian Faith & Walk.

( 2 Timothy 3:15-17, 2 Peter 1:21, Romans 15:4, John 5:39, Proverbs 30:5-6)

GOD

We believe in the living and true GOD, the LORD, who exists eternally, perfectly and equally in three persons. God, the Father. God, The Son and God, the Holy Spirit.

( Genesis 1:26, Genesis 11:7, Jeremiah 10:10 Luke 1:21-22, Colossians 2:9)

Man/Humanity

We believe that the totality of mankind, which includes both the male and female gender, were created equally but distinctly in the image of GOD. We believe that it was God’s original intention for mankind to have dominion, to be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it, all the while communing with Him. However, we likewise believe that, in Adam, sin, death, judgement and condemnation became the portion of mankind. Therefore, every man stands in need of justification, salvation, righteousness, and grace in order to be reconciled back to GOD, which is only found through faith in the Last Adam, Jesus Christ.

( Genesis 1:27-28, Genesis 3:7, 10, 17-24, Romans 5:12-21)

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus is the Son of GOD, who is likewise the image of the invisible GOD, the firstborn of all creation.  It is by Him that all things were created both in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether, thrones, dominions, principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.

We believe that Jesus is likewise the Son of Man, as He became flesh, born by the virgin Mary by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus took on the form of a bondservant and came in the likeness of men, being found in appearance as a man, humbling Himself and being obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.

We believe that Jesus was tempted in all points as we are, yet without sin. However, He became sin so that we might becomes the righteousness of God in Him.

We believe that Jesus, through the eternal Spirit, offered Himself without spot to God, as the ultimate Sacrifice for sins forever and by one offering, He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. Therefore, He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

We believe that after the death of Jesus on the cross, He rose from the dead three days later and presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by His apostles over a period of forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. After which, we believe that Jesus ascended into heaven, and a cloud received Him out of their sight, as He sat down at the right hand of the Father, waiting until His enemies are made His footstool, therefore we believe that Jesus will come back again in like manner.

Finally, We believe that Jesus is head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all and He is who makes intercession for us.

(Luke 1:31-35, John 1:14, Colossians 1:15-16, John 1:51, Philippians 2:7-8, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Hebrews 4:15, Hebrews 9:14-15, Hebrews 10:10-13, Acts 1:2-3, John 20:19-20, Luke 24, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Romans 8:34)

Holy Spirit

We believe that Holy Spirit, the third Person of the "Trinity", was sent in the Name of Jesus, by the Father, to dwell in the heart of a believer forever, as we are identified as temples of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit of Promise, which is the guarantee of our inheritance, seals the believer in the finished work of Jesus Christ for the day of redemption.

The Holy Spirit helps the believer in their weaknesses, makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, according to the will of God. Likewise, the Holy Spirit produces righteous fruit, and as a result, the believer is encouraged to be filled with the Spirit, to walk in the Spirit and to live in the Spirit, so that we may NOT fulfill the lusts of the flesh.

The Holy Spirit is the Source of a diversity of spiritual gifts, which is the manifestation of the Spirit, distributed to each one individually as He wills, for the profit of all.

The Holy Spirit teaches, renews, convicts, guides, empowers, baptizes and sanctifies. The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus, as He takes from what belongs to Jesus and declares it to the believer. This includes declaring that which He hears concerning things to come.

(John 14:16-17, 26, Ephesians 1:13-14, Ephesians 4:30, Romans 8:26-27, Titus 3:5, Galatians 5:16-25, Ephesians 5:18, 1 Corinthians 12:4, 7, 11, John 16:8-15, Ephesians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 12:13, 1 Peter 1:2)

Salvation

We believe that unless one is born again, He cannot see the kingdom of GOD. However, GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, shall NOT perish but have eternal life. So, it is our belief that upon placing faith in Jesus Christ as our Lord & Savior, that we transition from being spiritually dead in our trespasses to being alive together with Christ.

We believe that if a person confesses with his mouth, the LORD Jesus and believes in his heart that GOD has raised Him from the dead, they will be saved. We further believe that whoever calls on the Name of the LORD shall be saved. So, we believe that a person cannot earn or work for salvation, for it is by grace, through faith, that a person is saved. It is the gift of GOD.

Therefore, we believe that salvation is impossible without faith in the life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins. There is NO other Name under heaven given amongst men by which we must be saved.

(John 3:3,16, Ephesians 2:5 Acts 4:10-12, Romans 10:9, 13)

The Church

We believe that the church has been purchased with the blood of Jesus, therefore it is built on Jesus, the Son of the living GOD and the gates of hell are unable to prevail against it.

We believe that the church consists of many members, who are one body in Christ and that we should NOT forsake gathering together with other believers, for we have been called as the body to let the Word of Christ dwell in us richly.

So, it is our belief that the church should be teaching and encouraging one another in psalms, spiritual songs and hymns. The church should be equipping the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. The church should be continuing steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, in prayers and in praising GOD. The church should be making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe what Jesus has commanded, intentionally adding to the body of Christ!

Finally, the church should be meeting the needs of the saints, providing relief to the widows, extending kingdom love to the world, including but NOT limited to the homeless, the incarcerated and the sick. (Acts 20:38, Matthew 16:18, Romans 12:4-5, Hebrews 10:24-25, Ephesians 4:12, 1 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 25:34-40, Luke 10:25-37)

Baptism

We believe that it is the LORD’s desire for the church to make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. We believe that once a person receives Jesus, they are baptized into the body of Christ, which is the church. Therefore, Water Baptism is a symbolic act by which a person makes a public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ and their association with the church.

We believe that a person should be completely immersed under water, symbolizing the burial of the old man and the resurrection of the new man that is now in Christ Jesus.

(Matthew 28:19, Romans 6:1-10)

Communion

We believe that it is the LORD’s desire for the church to intentionally remember Him, by proclaiming HIS death until He comes. We do this, by partaking in what is called the Lord’s Supper, in which we symbolically remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, as HIS body was broken for us and HIS blood was shed for us as HE established the new covenant. (1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
